Traveling to Trinidad & Tobago
HOW TO GET TO TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO:
There are two major airports you can take a flight to in order to get into Trinidad and Tobago. One of which is the Piarco International Airport which is located in Trinidad and the other airport is the ANR Robinson International Airport in Tobago. From Miami Florida it will take 3 1/2 hours to get to the islands and their airports.
For cruises, you have the option of Carnival, and various cruises from Guadeloupe for a less steep price. Cruises actually go to various different islands, so if you wanted to just spend a majority of time in Trinidad & Tobago, it would be better book a flight.
In order to actually travel to the island, you must have a passport that is eligible for three to six months after the trip to Trinidad & Tobago. Visas are actually not required unless staying for longer than a month on your trip to this paradise.
WHERE TO STAY:
Major hotels and bed & breakfasts are available on the island for you to book. Major commonly known hotel chains like Hilton, the Marriott, and the Hyatt. It's usually not too difficult to get a hotel room unless the big festivals are occurring like the Carnival or Jazz Festival.
There is a quaint little condo available if you really search on travel pages like Expedia. There are restaurants and great amenities included in the area.
WHERE TO GO/ THINGS TO DO:
Trinidad and Tobago is considered a paradise for many and on a trip it would be wonderful to visit places that contribute to the general well ratings of the islands. The one I would be most excited about is all the beaches on the islands. On these islands are a variety of exciting watersport activities for anyone to partake in. There is Danny's Inflatable Water Parks, Stand up Paddle boarding and the Radical Sports Tobago. The Radical Sports Tobago is so interactive and thrilling fun for any ages so you can be sure to bring children with you on this trip.
$$$ THE HIGH'S AND THE LOW'S $$$:
Vacations are extremely necessary and an understandable necessity for anybody. That doesn’t mean that you have to go broke for a short trip!
On Expedia the best option would be to depart from Miami to travel to these Caribbean islands. So, from Atlanta, GA to the Port of Spain, the cheapest price for a five day round trip would be $371 dollars. To rent a hotel chain for a night would cost you $102 per night.
To participate in Radical Sports Tobago it would cost up to $50 an hour. To attend the Hummingbird Gallery it actually doesn’t cost a thing and the most they ask for is a $1 donation to the hummingbirds. It’s a small price to pay for such a beautiful experience.
