Visit Anguilla!

Ever seen a country this similar to an eel?
Anguilla is a wonderful destination and I'll tell you why.

     BEFORE GOING: THE NITTY GRITTY

ENTERING ANGUILLA: A little bit of a hassle, but taking a ferry ride to reach the island is well worth it. As you are coming in, you should definitely consider renting your own car. In my personal opinion, I think taking taxis should be kept for the city life... when you are vacationing on an island you should just get transportation handled beforehand to avoid any time provoking tasks like trying to secure a taxi.

TEMPERATURE: This island is what a Spanish speaker would call "MUY CALIENTE!" If you are not a big fan of feeling as though you might be getting baked like a turkey on Thanksgiving when vacationing to a tropical island... first did you really think it through? I mean it is the tropics! But on a serious note, consider bringing some light and breezy clothes and remember to stay hydrated!

MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEYYY!: Don't fret-- U.S currency is definitely accepted in Anguilla. But also, you should start saving NOW if you plan on visiting Anguilla. These resorts are NOOOT cheap. But it's a small price to pay for all the fun to be had there.

                    SIGHTS, NOT FRIGHTS

Anguilla has various beautiful sights and landmarks. One thing I recommend doing is their Heritage Trail. On the trail, you will be able to view various different historical landmarks like this church which is absolutely beautiful:

                                   CUISINE

This is where the FLAVA of the Caribbean comes in.
Anguillan food combines Spanish, French, English & a large amount of African influences to deliver that unique Caribbean taste. Similarly to other Caribbean countries, Anguilla utilizes a lot of its aquatic life forces. You can see plenty of meals with shrimp, conch, fish, crab, lobsters, and more. Although livestock is limited due to the island size, goat is one of the most popular meals of choice prepared in curries & stews, grilled or jerked. Some of the most popular foods for that region include barbecue, jerk, dumplings, bisques and an assortment of marinated seafood dishes.
